50 Million Year Old Eocene Era Fossil Fish Mural in Stone, from Wyoming
This exquisite fossil mural features a Phareodus testis, a Cockerellites liops (formerly known as Priscacara), and seven Knightia eocaena. These fish are all Eocene era fossils dating back about 50 million years. These ancient fish are forever preserved in a textured matrix of natural, fossil-bearing limestone. This sculptural piece of natural history compliments a wide range of design style, from traditional to rustic to modern.
The mural measures 4 feet x 3 feet. It is fully backed with wood and it includes a handmade custom Wenge wood frame which compliments the fossil color beautifully. The mural has a built-in French cleat, which allows for an easy installation.
